Can barre build muscle?




Yes. 


But please keep in mind, there is a difference between building muscle, and “getting bulky.”


When you start any new workout routine you are going to build muscle. What barre is designed to do is lengthen and strengthen your muscles, giving you that long, lean appearance. 


This is done with light weights, and high repetitions. For example: we use 2lbs weights for two sets of eight reps of triceps kickbacks. 


In summary, building muscle is a GOOD thing. It can help your posture, live pain free, and more.
